Rocky Horror Picture Show Coming to Sphere Las Vegas in 2027

Las Vegas just raised the bar again. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming to Sphere in 2027, and if the Wizard of Oz run taught us anything, this city knows exactly how to turn a cultural institution into a once-in-a-generation experience.

What We Know So Far

The Rocky Horror Picture Show has one of the most dedicated fan bases in entertainment history. Bringing it to Sphere, the most technologically advanced venue on the planet, is not just a booking decision. It is a statement about what Las Vegas is becoming as a permanent destination for immersive, world-class entertainment.

The Numbers That Tell the Story

The Wizard of Oz at Sphere generated over $400 million in ticket sales. That is not a fluke. That is a proof of concept for what happens when iconic IP meets next-generation production in Las Vegas. Rocky Horror has the cult following, the spectacle, and the audience participation energy to do the same thing.

Why This Matters Beyond the Show

Every major entertainment announcement like this one reinforces Las Vegas as a long-term destination city. F1 through 2037, EDC doubling in size, The Venetian locked in through 2030, and now Rocky Horror at Sphere in 2027. These are not isolated wins. They are a pattern. And that pattern matters enormously if you are thinking about planting roots here.

Las Vegas entertainment is not slowing down. It is accelerating.
